Granted; I like the artwork. But this comic could be so much better if the humour was even remotely funny.
Firstly: the main character (I forget his name) doesn't wear clothes. But then his mouth almost breaks apart when he sees a female ...uh ...character wearing nothing. I don't get it.
Secondly; the "news" chirp, underneath goes something like: "Ooh, a naughty strip, today", or thereabouts. What's naughty about it? Unless there's a huge amount of sarcasm happening here.
I'd like to see stronger punchlines. |

i second jesternim. I think it's a silly strip, granted not as funny as it would be if any of the characters normally wore clothing. I think it's just meant to be silly and mildly ironic?

Ok, first of all, i just want to say, why the hell do you bother coming here just to criticize kid's work? Don't like them (them being the strips), don't read it? I don't see you making anything better.
I find that this strip really brings out the wonder and joy of how something so simple can bring a smile to ones face. Infact, thats pretty much what i find this whole comic represents. Joy in simplicity.
As for 'naughty strip today,' did you not read, or are you just oblivious to everything that finds it's way inside your head. Clearly talk of somebody being naked is infact, naughty. Get with the times.
You've made 2 posts on these boards. Both have been about how the comic isn't funny. And guess what, we still don't care. Next time you want to try to explain to us why you don't like it, don't.
PS, theres a 'Talk about the current comic' thread for a reason.

I'm french and I would play to final fantasy XII in american. However I do not know what patch I need to download, I already downloaded a patch but it freezed certain videos on my HDD. Could you please guide me through this problem. |

I check out the comic, because I LIKE it. Perhaps you missed that part. I'll say it again: I LIKE the comic.
But the part I like most of all, is the artwork. Not the gags. I don't find them funny. And I'm not going to try make them better, since it is not my comic to make better.
I'm not going to comment on the part about being naked being "naughty", because you clearly didn't read what I typed.
I'm simply saying that the gags are weak, and that the strip would be better, overall, with better punchlines.
What's so complicated about that? So, if you want to lock this thread, go for it. Ha ha. I'll start a thread of praise and worship for the artist and comic. Then everyone will be happy. |

Well, I PERSONALLY believe every single person in the world has their OWN unique sense of humour. And PERSONALLY I find it funny AND like the pixelness of it all. And since I've been here longer than you, my opinion mounts yours, and makes yours its bitch.
And no one is saying you have to find it funny. But if you're going to criticize something, atleast be a bit helpful. Saying that it needs better punchlines isn't helpful in the slightest bit. As I was implying before, better for WHO? Kid has a fanbase who is quite happy with his GAGS. It seems more like you're some 12 year old kid, tyring to sound above his ages. But that's just my personal opinion.

I think this is fair.
I also don't mind more topics, because it gets people talking about the strip. But honestly, I think you are looking for something in the comic which it is not supposed to be.
I don't try to make every comic laugh out loud funny. Often, I enjoy making them silly, or ironic, or maybe just a little commentary on something that is happening in my life that someone else may identify with.
I'll also totally admit that my style of humor is waaay out there, which many people don't seem to identify with, though there are definantly peoples out there who have similar taste.
Also, I am not spell checking this post because I am going to go get some breakfast.
