Retro videogame company Messiah is putting out a system that will play both NES and Famicom games, looks pretty neat, though I'm not sure about the legality or realiability of the system.

If it works good, it would be awesome to replace my busted up NES.

Get that thing out of my sight.

The only new nes type dealie that has turned my gears was the NES skin mockup of the Revolution.

I'd rather go to ebay and get a nes and famicom then be caught with that thing.. It is pretty funny though,

actually, that's pretty perfect for me. i have a collection of like a million NES games, and only two NES consoles. neither work. if i get another NES, i only know it's going to burn out again.

frankly, it's right up my alley.

That thing is rather atrocious, though. I would prefer a new NES that looked like the old ones.

Decent concept. From what I know about emulation it's not really illegal. As long as they don't use any of Nintendo's hardware or decoding it's legit.

The color scheme might be pushing it a bit. I really don't mind them coming out with a new NES but really. If it cost more then 20 bucks there is no chance in hell that I'm buying it. I can barely stand to play games on my PSOne. What makes them think that I'm going to shell out a decent amount of money on a new NES. Evil or Very Mad

i'm tempted towards it, but it may just be my gigantic unplayable NES game collection. i don't feel like making my NES work, i just feel like getting one that won't break for a long time.

$10!

Wow, where do you live? I just walk up to our locally owned game store, pay $3 (I buy in bulk), say I'll put them in myself and that I'm responsible for all the damages to my system.

Now I just run emulators on my computer with controllers and such. I could easily hook it up to a TV or projector though and get the same effect, so yeah, I don't see any reason for this to cost more than 20.00.

The only reason I can justify the price is because you're ordering them instead of getting them directly. ; ;

There's a ton on ebay right now for 4.89 with 6.50 shipping...

This would interest me more if it weren't a wireless home console.

If i'm not on the go I prefer to make my games plugged into the wall and bolted down to preserve the idea in my mind that the batteries won't run out.

I think the thing is crazy sexy actually.

And you can use all your normal NES controllers and such, so it doesn't need to be wireless unless you use their controllers.

I'd rather save my money and get this.
