It's 16 here I think, and even then, I've never seen a 13 year old not getting his or her beer in a pub. |

Crazy shit. You have to be 21 to go into casinos here, but I'm not sure about gambling in general. Especially those gambling machines in bars are a grey zone.
Any other crazy age stuff like that? We only get our driver's license when we're 18, but we can start practicing when we're 17...
Oh, and we have some rules on sexual contact or whatever too. Basically, no sex before you're 14. Between 14 and 16, you can have sex with anyone under 18. Between 16 and 18, you can have sex with anyone in a 9 year reach, meaning 25 maximum. Once you're 18, you're free to bone anyone older than you... |

heh, for the US, as far as sex goes, if you're under 18, then NO SEX FOR YOU basically. 18 and up is have at it. Once you're 18 you can bone any one else above the age of 18.
For driving it get your liscense at 16, but you can start practicing at 15, when you can get a permit, generally (it differs per state, but i believe that's the common set up)

Yeah, prostitution is sort of legal here too, though only in houses, not on the street.
Also, we have semi-legal cannabis use, though we still have to drive to Holland to get it legally. We can't import it, but we can smoke it. It's all very blurry, but it means we can at least light a joint and no cop will bother us. Well, they might come and check if you're not dealing anything, but that's it... |
