Anybody fans of Jet Set Radio? I just got JSR Future for the Xbox, had and completed Jet Grind Radio (Jet Set Radio in Japan) 100% for the Dreamcast, and I just bought the soundtrack to the first game.
They're really fun, and the music is some of the best original game music I've heard in a long time.
Anybody fans?

These games are stylish and cool, but I didn't think there was really too much game there. I don't think I'd ever play through the original again, and I got bored of Future before I beat it. _________________ >>>-\-[games]-\-[journal]-\-[pictures]-\->>

I agree they aren't the deepest game out there, but when I had a Dreamcast, I had 100% completion on JGR, I had every character, got every Graffiti Soul and beat every level with a Jet rating.
I've never done that up untill that point, and I have never done it since. They aren't deep games, but for some reason, I was totally addicted to that first one, and that makes it one of my favorites.
Plus the killer soundtrack, man I love that music. Which is weird, because I'm more of a punk/classic rock guy.
Maybe its nostalgia.

haha, i got 100% on both the english and the japanese version of JSR. i never bothered with JSRF, since i dont have an xbox.
besides, i was too attached with the characters as they were to see their character designs get changed.
and now that i'm thinking about it, i need a tab avatar... |

I totally loved the style and gameplay of the Jet Grind Radio. I didn't play it all that much because I was really bad at it. The look and feel of the game was totally unique at the time. It was very refreshing to play a game like that.
I love everything about the DC by the way. It was by far my favorite system of all time. This time I really thought Sega had finely got it right. I was surprised and saddened when they bowed out of the console market. _________________ Power Move:

Isn't it all pretty much licensed tracks?
I got stuck on JSR, but finished Future. Both great games. _________________ She did that thing where an idiot laughs. |

All the music on my soundtrack CD is the original stuff. Most of the other tracks were added to the US version.
If any of you want the sound track, you can get it for about $15 (after shipping) over at www.gkworld.com
Also, I hate to keep plugging stuff like a shill, but fans of Jet Set Radio Future NEED to read this comic, Jet Set Revolution. Its a fan work, but I think its better than any comic Sega would put with the game. Its at:

And Tabs even it, Tab fans!

Everything by Guitar Vader is licensed.
Like gas treats said, just the Hideki stuff is original. _________________ >>>-\-[games]-\-[journal]-\-[pictures]-\->>
