Kindgom Hearts 2

So I went to mall yesterday and was looking around. I notice that the officiall Bradley Games stradgey guide for Kingdom Hearts 2 was ginormous! I mean it looked to me to be at least 300 pages long.

Seriously if you need a strat guide that big for a game then maybe you shouldn't be playing. Besides strat guide isn't even a correct terms for books like that. It's more like here is the how to play the game now go do it. I have bought strat guides before but they've been for games with insanely complex class systems like Orge Battle: March of the Black Queen, Final Fantasy Tactics or FFTA.

Not to mention if you really can't beat a part of a game go to GameFAQs and get the answer for free.

I loved the ole Versus books guides, they were awesome. They had so much extra info that was really out of left field, not like the generic Bradey/Prima guides.

The FF7, SFA, and MGS guides by them were soo good.

To a lesser extent, the Double Jump books are pretty good too, though not quite as dope as the Versus.

Maybe the KH guide has lots of art and stuffs in it?

I have the FFTA guide, Tales of Symphonia guide, Star Ocean: Second Story guide, and I used to have the Pokemon Snap guide. Man, I wish I woulda kept that bad boy.

EDIT: I also have the Final Fantasy Anthology guide.

MY friend got the guide, it has about 10 pages of stickes taht when you get an item or character or beat someone, you put a sticker in its place. It also has a ton of work and info on all the items, spells, and other such stuff.

I lurve the game but I refuse to use a strategy guide for it. I didn't use a strat for anything except the last dalmation box (fecking... Halloween Town. I'll kill you)

After that I only used it to figure out the secret bosses. I rocks.

So, KH2... I spent 4 hours at a friends today, watching him play this game while i played CS:S and surfed the web. He got to the final boss then i took off. Pretty neat stuff. (Half-way through this post, i realised that i was about to dish out spoilers, and stopped myself. :x )

I say 'Man up' and don't get the guide. Play the game without using GameFaqs or any other help site. It'll give you a greater sense of accomplistment. Then after you've spent 80 hours playing and beating the game use GameFaqs to help you get all the shizzel you missed.
