Who here loves the old school games? I do, even if some of the games are before my time (I was born in '87, for anybody that cares), I've still played them either in restaurants, arcades, or as part of compilation releases on the newer consoles.
Anyway, for this thread, "Old School" counts as anything 16bit or older(except the 90's arcade stuff just means whats ever in the 90's)
Heres my top three (in random order) for the old school consoles.
Genesis:
Earthworm Jim
Vector Man
Comix Zone
SNES:
Earthworm Jim 2
Super Mario World
Super Mario Kart
NES:
Super Mario Bros.
MegaMan
Street Fighter II
90's Arcade:
Sunset Riders
Rampage: World Tour
The Simpsons
80's and older Arcade:
Sinistar
Space Invaders
Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man (They're basically the same thing)
So, what old school games do you guys like? _________________

Two Words:
They look some much that same.
Master Blaster. Best premise ever. Your frog mutates and runs away. To get him back you steal the experimental tank your dad has been working on (which he just so happened to leave the keys in). If that doesn't have block buster written all over it I don't know what does. _________________ Power Move:

For the SNES/NES, it's hard to find better RPG's than Final Fantasy 6 and previous. Frogger and Pong were really cool as classics though. _________________ Roses are red, violets are blue, all my base are belong to you.

All the newer Oregon Trails suck.
If you could use the mouse in it, your Oregon Trail sucked. _________________ >>>-\-[games]-\-[journal]-\-[pictures]-\->>

Whenever I played Oregon Trail at school, I'd always blast all the bison, end up racking up over 3000lbs of food, and just like you said, can only carry 280lbs back. 'Who cares?' I'd think to myself realizing that I wouldn't even have time for another month on the game. At my school we only played it for an hour as part of a "computer class."
Thanks for the memories...

I liked the monkey island series, and any megaman, TMNT game, and any game that was a beat up up side scroller. _________________

X Men
90's Arcade:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:(whatever it was called)
X Men: Children of the Atom(I think?)
Metal Slug
