Even with my dislike (but warming) of the Astroboy art, I would still be willing to check out the book. Good looking out al27, next time I'm out at the bookstore I'll have to give it a look-see.
And I still haven't had a chance to finish Astroboy yet, I'm literally like ten minutes from finishing it for the first time, but my schedule just hasn't been condusive to making it happen.
Weak. _________________

I'm about half way through the part where you have to go back in time and play the stages over agian. I just beat Deadcross.

It's crazy how good/well crafted the story is, not to mention how well it is tied into making you want to keep replaying the game.
I've finished it twice now, with most of the people found, just gotta target a few more key stages and I think I'll be ready to go.

I watched one episode of the Astroboy anime.....
Anyone remember the cartoon Big guy and Rusty? Rusty and astroboy are kind of similar.... _________________ "The Highlander was a documentary, and the events happened in real time."

I TOLD you. That's why I just HAD to mention it in the review (which is not up yet, I might add ;__; ).
It's just such a surprisingly cool story.

I love Osamu Tezuka so much...why don't I have this game?? Is the one for the PS2 similar?
...Blarg!! I just read that review...Rock is NOT from Metropolis!! Rock is from Phoenix: Tale of the Future. The stupid Metropolis directors threw him in there in their sad attempts to make the story complete (Tezuka never wanted Metropolis made into a movie...I find it kind of sad that the directors went against his wishes after he passed away).
Oh well. ^^;

No, it is miserable.

I KNOW! That's why I said "most recently seen in" (which he was) instead of "originally from" or something like it.
Don't make me hit you on the head with a broom like Dr. Tenma.

I played a demo of the PS2 Astroboy, avoid the game like the plague. _________________

LOL Okay, I'll avoid the PS2 one.
I'll be out of town for a long time, so the GBA would be better anyway. ^^
I can play it along with my shiney new Blackjack DVDs (stupid, crappy, VHS...). *cheer* |

Astroboy is a better Mega Man game than any Mega Man platformer has been for a long time.
Even if Mega Man is pretty much a Astroboy knockoff (from a design standpoint) I still like the ole blue bomber quite a bit more. _________________

Woo!
I am so close to the end now, should have this sucker finished up by the end of the night if I don't fall asleep at the "wheel" so to speak.
*edit*
Alright, with the exception of a couple of people, Astroboy is finished and is going back on the shelf.

I'm so close to being done, but all my time is currently taken up by Pikmin 2 and Burnout 3.
I'm actually on the last boss, and that sucker is tough!!!
