That's what I've heard. I finished it at work today, but it seemed like it was trying to do too much. Failed drunk super-comedy/publicist dilemma/crazy romance/earth-shattering hero epic.
Also Bateman pretty much stole the entire movie. I'd have seen a movie just based around him trying to pimp up Hancock ala Jerry Maguire, but instead we got half a superhero-comedy and half a serious drama superhero movie, but we got the bad half of both.

Hahah, I didn't really judge/analyze either of the movies when I was watching them, at all. I was too busy having a good day and enjoyed the crap out of them.
