yeah, fuck FF, there's only two that were halfway decent.
I'd say my RPG trifecta would be:
Chrono Trigger
Earthbound
Zelda
That gives you a nice spread of stuff.
Platformers:
Donkey Kong Country series
Mario series |

That looks so sweet. Pending on how it's executed, could be a really awesome game. _________________ Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

It's made by Capcom, and the SNES version is based on the arcade version.
An old CPS1 title if I remember correct. It was pretty fun back in the day, but really lacks the amount of moves and variety as some of Capcom's side scrolling brawlers that came after it.
The capcom DnD games for example.

Shadow's over mystara, anyone? I loved that game.
Me and my friends still play it on LAN games on sometimes with good ol' emulation! _________________ Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

Yeah, it was a bit lacking in the moves department, got boring after a while.
I think I prefer Golden Axe, not sure... |
