Assassins Creed

There's been a lot of hype surrounding this - anyone bought it yet?

I haven't played it very much, but I am enjoying it lots and lots so far. It's like prince of persia combined with tenchu, just without the hugely frustrating annoying bits.

So far that is. What do you guys think?

There has been a lot of hype about this, but for me it's just seemed really generic and something that's just kinda fell between the cracks for me.

I suppose it doesn't help that I don't have a ps3 or 360 yet, but if AC would've really piqued my interest, I would've put it on my "buy this game when I get a system to play it on list".

Skate is on that list btw.

a friend of mine got it, i watched him play it for quite a while. Looks pretty sweet, nothing like i thought it was going to be (which was 'not that great').

Also, everytime he does a leap off a huge building and lands in a haystack, he should break his neck. Those buildings are HUGE and the haystacks very small, and thusly not that cushiony for the ground below,and he like dives in them. Mad

I've been hearing that it was overhyped and the AI is terrible.

My friends picked it up and think it's friggin awesome. I haven't seen it in action yet though.

Yeah, the AI is wank, but that doesn't really matter.

Sweet ass fatalities man. Not to mention realistic free running.
