So book 7 started today and the one big thing is that I decided to do the book black and white.
I personally am really happy with how it looks as I've been on a huge b/w comic binge lately.
So what are your thoughts? Do you miss the color? Do you think it looks good this way? How is book 7 starting out?

if i *say* (but not necessarily *mean*) i disapprove of the black-and-white-ness of the comics, can i still go with what your update says and come and lynch you in a few weeks? Pwetty pwease?
(however, i do think it looks pretty cool in B&W) |

Well, i don't mind the black and white but i miss the depth in the picture. Sure you did have SOME shadow i just think the whole picture can be bolder.
However, i fully trust your artistry (i wonder if thats a word) and can't wait to see how it progresses!

Yea that was just that page (re: shadows). The future pages are going to have tons of contrats with lots of black backgrounds and spooky shadows.

Welcome to the boards! And don't be so dejected, you know the (newish) old saying:

So naturally, by default, you're bound to be assumed to be male :P
Also, nemo, question:
Are the comics going to remain a strict black/white or are you going to incorporate shades of gray to produce kinda like a neat, spooky, old timey-effect? |

Also, I just finished fridays page and it is looking mighty fine. Let me know what you think of it when it goes up tomorrow.

Ok, just kidding. Kinda 
I don't *mind* the BW, I'm not sure if I prefer it or not.
The color artwork looks like it was produced entirely on the PC, but the colors are always very rich, and you tend to use better color choices than most artists.
The bw artwork is good, but looks more sketchy. It doesn't pop like the color does. Maybe has something to do with the bold-ish outlines setting off the color. Bolder outlines on the bw art may help. I don' know, I'm not a damn artist :)
Overall, I've been very pleased, and thank you ever so much for the hard work you put into it. Just as soon as my bank account moves over into the positive I'm buying a shirt |

i just went through yesterday and read the entire comic of KVZA. i dont mind the black and white at all, but there's a certian feeling the color gave to it that the black and white just cant grab.
basically, what i'm trying to say, is that it looks great either way. i'd like to see a little color, but hell, it's still awesome.
