For those interested RPGFan has screenshots of the new FFVII game.

Looks like they are just better quality shots of the ones we've already seen. But at least we know the game won't like like totally poo now.

Here we go!!

Wow really? You're one of the few I've even know to admit that. Well, it's mighty brave of you. Don't worry I'm not going to try to convince you it's a great game.

I will admit this game is not doing much to impress me so far...

Given, the gameplay could be super fresh, but at this point, I will remain skeptical.

Yeah, I can see that. I have a lot of friends that didn't like RPGs because they took too long, were overly complicated and the plots were stuff they really didn't care about. Their attitude was 'Who really cares of some little fat guy wants to take over the world?'.

I know Kid doesn't like Survival Horror games. Or was it just Resident Evil games?

I personally don't like the Pokemon type games. There was one notable exception Monster Rancher. Even that after a while got old. It might have been the novelty of using music CDs to make monster that made me like that game. I just never got into the whole 'gotta catch all' thing. Ah well. Cliche time - To each their own.

i just prefer arcade based games is all. dont get me wrong though, i've played plenty of RPGs in my day, so it's not like i didnt give them a chance.

i nearly had a joygasm when i was in hong kong. only some kid kicked my butt at KoF2k3, so i wasnt too happy for too long. until i saw the Strikers 1945+ machine....

YEah, most people don't like RPGs because they aren't fast paced enough. But that's why they have to play ACTION RPGs, like Tales of Symphonia, and Star Ocean.

I actually got one of my friends who hated(yes, past tense) RPGs to start playing FF.

I am slowly shaping him to be my clone....
