Pokemon Pearl:

Either i'm a pokemon master or they dumbed down these games.

I think it's both. The towns were so close together, the caves were so small, the puzzles were so simple, the bosses were a joke.

I beat the game with 3 pokemon.

All in all, best pokemon games yet.

Chocobo Tales - DS

This is one of the cutest games in the universe. Super cute music. Super cute graphics. Tons of Final Fantasy fan service.

Too bad the game is basically mini games (which aren't very fun) and the card battling is not too exciting.

1.5/5

Metal Gear Ac1d 2 - PSP

One of my favorite portable games of all time. Super deep collectible card game gameplay. Tons of replayability. Tons of cards to collect and decks to build.

4/5

*

Mega Man Battle Network 3 White - GBA

More great MMBN virus busting action. Basically a more refined version of the earlier games, just more story, and more to do. Raising your own viruses is pretty neato. Difficulty scales up nicely near the end.

If you liked the other games in the series, you'll like this.

3.5/5

Tales of Eternia (Tales of Destiny II) - PSX

It was a good game. The graphics were really nice, except for on the world map. But even then, it was tolerable.
The battle system played pretty much the same as it's predecessors, much like a fighting game. It hadn't yet broken into the 3D engine like Symphonia and Abyss.
One thing I really liked about this game was how each character was very unique in their own battle styles (save for the two magic casters). For example: The character Max uses a massive gun. However, when using regular attacks, he pretty much just smacks the enemy around with it. He only actually shoots for special attacks.
Anyway, it was a good 30+ hours.

Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day ~Nintendo DS

I've never heard a more accurate title in my life.

Brain Age 2 does indeed give you more training, its set up identically to the first one, with the stat keeping and the interface and the black and white minimalist design. More importantly, though, it refines the experience. The voice recognition is better, the games are more varied and more interesting (no "reading aloud" bs here!), and its still very addictive (and its still only $20!!!).

Transformers.

Amazingly fun for half and hour, then you get bored and walk away. You can keep coming back to it though. Also, too much Bumblebee.

Kingdom Hearts 2 - PS2: This game was a huge disappointment after the first game. Too much revisiting old areas from the original, vague story, too much filler.

3 out of 5 (and that's just cause I loved the first so much)
