I make two other comics, aside from the c7, and one of them, kristy vs. the zombie army is updated today. It's getting near the end of the current chapter, and for me, and hopefully for you, that is an exciting thing. Go check it out!

It is supposed to be nice weather around most of the Americas this weekend. For that reason I give you this comic, to promote good eyeball safety over the next couple of days. Happy staring!

Good ole cute grim reaper, he's just kicking it. Out at the beach or the park, enjoying a nice sunny day with a little bit of tunes. Fat beats you might say. But there is no mp3 player here, nope, not when you're the collector of souls. You gotta rock the boombox, which you can see in today's vote incentive sketch by clicking right here. Phat.

nostalgia is a powerful thing

I've been playing the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on the ole PSP the last fwe days. The game seems pretty good so far, a bit generic, but returning to some of the familar locales and revisiting characters from the original Final Fantasy VII is a great experience. Everytime I hear the familiar post-battle music it puts a smile on my face.

The battle system has this weird slot machine mechanic, which I'll be honest, I'm not sure that I'm sold on quite yet. Time will tell I suppose.

Everyone, even if they are only mildly interested in videogames, which probably isn't many of you, should check out this footage of Mirror's Edge, the free running FPS that is coming out. This looks absolutely delicious, and I hope it plays as good as I'm hoping it does.

The vote incentive drawing that you see for today is just a little something that fell out when I was doodling yestrday. Didn't turn out too bad considering it took all of about five minutes. I like how her body turned out, I should really try to draw more women in this style I think.

two languages

Date: 05/07/08 - 8:03AM

Can you speak two languages? I cannot. But if you can, you are pretty awesome. I wish that I could. :(

I like flying saucers. Apparently I also like Cyclops, from the X-men, because the little alien piloting the flying saucer in today's comet 7 vote incentive drawing sure looks like he stole Cyclop's eye goggles thingies.

I like this comic. Why? Probably because this is something I could very much see myself saying in real life. That's just how I roll you could say.

Pixelated goodness. It just rolls off the tongue and it's basically how I was artisically reborn ten or so years ago. I pushed pixels all the time, but lately, since I've grown atleast slightly proficient with the stylus, I haven't pushed the pixels as much as I used to.

I've been working with a client doing some steampunk type pixelated designs the last couple of months, and when you vote for comet 7 today and all day you'll get to see a little pixelated steam punk town "tile" that I made. Pretty neat looking I think, especially when you consider it's only 50 by 50 pixels in size.

So vote for comet 7 and let me know what you think of it.

back to dah grindn

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 05/05/08 - 7:30AM

So in effect, the last few weeks I've been off. I work from home, so I'm never really on, but the last few weeks have been a small vacation of sorts, where I've only done the most minimum amount of work to get by. But I'm back on the grind today and I'm quite refreshed and energized, woo.

When you vote for comet 7 today (which honestly, you should be doing everyday if you love me) you will see a cute little flying/hovering type robot. He kinda looks like the washed ashore robot don't cha think?

100% true son

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 05/02/08 - 8:28AM

It's friday and that means that kristy vs. the zombie army is updated today. I make that comic too, and if you have never seen it, maybe you should check it out. I like it and so do some other peoples.

I love this story and it is 100% true.

Yesterday I had a bit of a steampunk drawing spider walker thing preview. Today when you vote for comet 7 you get to see the finished drawing. Not too shabby, atleast I'd walk around and terrorize old ladies and stray dogs in my neighborhood with it.

Note: I see old ladies in my area quite regularly, not so much stray dogs.

I really like how this comic turned out. Just the silliness of it, with the little glimmer of truth (who doesn't want free money?) warms me up in all the right places.

I also like steampunk, I have for years. My love for the genre has been long lived, back when I read the original Jules Verne novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in fact. Which, while a bit dry, is an amazing book, even if it puts me to sleep sometimes.

The vote incentive for today is the start of this steampunk spider walker... thing. I'm not sure how it will turn out, and I'm pretty sure I don't like the head, but I will post up the finish piece tomorrow in the AM. So don't forget to vote!

I like videogames

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/30/08 - 7:39AM

I like videogames. I spend time almost everyday playing and reading about the things, which is common occurence with most of the people who read this strip. I thought it might be a good idea to make a little thread on the forum for us to post whatever neat little videogame news and tidbits we come across as we surf the net each day.

I mean, using your Nintendo DS as a PKE meter in the upcoming Ghostbusters game? That is something everyone needs to know.

I need to buy a new alarm clock. I've had this one since I was about ten, maybe younger, and it's been great. It has the best, and by best I mean worst, most horrible ear spliting buzz that can wake the dead.

Sadly the buttons are almost all broken, the snooze feature works, but sometimes when you hit snooze, it turns the alarm off all together. Which explains why I'm up at 9AM... instead of 8AM. The extra sleep was nice though.

I probably needed the beauty sleep anyway.

mad villians

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/28/08 - 8:02AM

It's not a conscious effort, but it seems like most of the characters in comet 7 don't have hair. I'm not sure why it worked out that way, it just kinda did.

Though in all honesty, hair I think, it's kinda gross. It's just funny I guess. Is it socially acceptable for guys to shave their legs yet? Leg hair is kinda gross too... probably not gross enough to shave it though. :)

a mystery

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/25/08 - 8:34AM

How is it that anytime I start talking crazy, crazy in a way that a girl, or woman, or lady might perhaps find the slightest bit offensive, they appear out of nowhere and give me the Eye Of Doom. It's like they have some type of radar that pics up when guys are talking crazy, a sort of stupidity GPS, and zooms right in on me. Girls are complicated.

Onions are one of my favorite vegetables. That's why today's little vote incentive doodle is, what looks like, a bunch of onion head type monsters. Kinda odd, but that's what came out when I was doodling today.

I talk to you cats all the time, but I'm not sure what all of you look like you know? Post up some of your new pictures on the post your pictures thread on the forum. I just put up a new one yesterday, and I was in my pajamas. Not too flattering, but that's how I roll.

P.S. kristy vs. the zombie army is updated today too!

turnip battle

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/24/08 - 8:09AM

I bought a new pillow. I hate it. It's givin me a headache two nights in a row. At at 3AM this morning I was digging around the bedroom in the dark trying to find my old pillow, luckily I found it. I still have the headache, but I'm not ready to give up my old, nasty, bedbug infest pillow quite yet.

In sticking with my Dragon Quest Monsters Joker theme (see my last couple of news posts below) I doodled up a little Pokemon trainer for today's vote incentive drawing. Pokemans go!

Oh yea, I forgot to mention. Today's strip is based on a real life vaccuum, it's called The Dirt Devil Cone. I got one for Christmas, and I'm a bit obsessed with it. It's so easy to just grab and suck up little bits of animal hair and stuff. It's pretty neato... even if the design is questionable.

toothbrushes?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/23/08 - 7:42AM

I saw a commercial today for a toothbrush, but not just any toothbrush. This toothbrush was telling me how scientifically important it was to buy their toothbrush. The reason for this? The normal bristles on a normal toothbrush, were totally insuffient, 100% inable to clean your tongue. I had no idea. I really feel like I've been living in a dream my entire life, to think that I thought that my normal, run of the mill toothbrush was able to clean my tongue.

Now I know the error of my ways.

When you vote for comet 7 today, which you should vote for everyday btw, you will see a scared looking little robot. What is the robot scared of? You will have to wait until tomorrow to find out!

a pokemon fan

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/22/08 - 8:31AM

I'm still what you could say is a Pokemon fan. Not only am I fan of the games, but I'm also a fan of the gotta collect 'em all style of gameplay that has become so prevelant after the release of the first game. The last few days I've been playing Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, which is basically Pokemon set in the Dragon Quest universe. Though I'm not a fan of 3D on the DS, this is turning out to be a fun and charming game. I'll report back more on it later.

Speaking of Dragon Quest, today's vote incentive drawing is of a bunch of DQ slimes hanging out. They look pretty happy... if a bit, perhaps, medicated.

a trying weekend

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/21/08 - 8:13AM

Ugh. I had a trying weekend for sure. I'm still kinda mentality drained from the entire thing. Maybe in a few days I'll make a little forum thread about it.

Today's comic has a very sweet, and secret CIA technique. I suggest you pay attention!

I have no idea what the meaning is behind today's vote incentive sketch, but I absolutely love it. I call it "The Grim Reaper has an apple on his head (and he is not happy about it).", you should click the big freaking out Steve to the right of this post to vote and check it out.

friday flying

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/18/08 - 8:53AM

I will not try to explain this comic, take it for what it is, and you will find enlightenment. Maybe.

kristy vs. the zombie army, which is a comic I also create, is updated today too.

I have a few brand new, and totally sweet items coming to the comet 7 store pretty shortly here. Hopefully as early as next week. I am confident you will like them. I hope!

Yesterday I the vote doodle was the background for the days comic, because it was kinda neat, but it was covered up by the other artwork. Today is the same thing, I love drawing these big stones in the ground like this, I have no idea why, but I do. Click right here and check out today's brand new vote incentive sketch. The weird stones compel you!

avid roleplaying

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/17/08 - 8:07AM

Reading this thread on the forum yesterday reminded me that back in the day, I used to be a pretty avid role player. Role playing, while pretty nerdy, can also be a super great experience, if you play with outgoing people, who aren't shy, and don't mind making a fool of themselves. I don't have a lot of time to get a game going anymore, with people having kids, and jobs, and other real life responsibilities, but occasially I still squeeze in a game.

Getting old is kinda dumb that way sometimes, with all the extra stuff you need to do.

Today's vote incentive drawing, is the background for today's comic. It turned out kinda neat, but it's hard to see with the characters in front of it, so I thought this way you'd get a chance to see it in full.

our jobs, okay

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/16/08 - 8:13AM

There is something to be said about a primal, hunting/gathering type job like deep sea crab fisherman. Fighting nature and the elements, using your strength and wits to support your family, there is something amazingly pure and manly about it. Not to say being an artist and making comics isn't manly... you know, it's just... different. Ahem.

A tiny robot on a tiny little screw. That's what you'll see when you vote for comet 7 today. It is a reasonably cute little doodle I think. You can never draw too many robots I do not believe.

drop science, son

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/15/08 - 8:42AM

I guess I forgot to get up this morning. That happens sometimes I guess. Also, today's comic has an amazingly orange background. Nom!

I was going to give this robot sketch laser eyes too, but I decided, when I was done, that he seemed pretty happy without them. Click right here to vote for comet 7 and take a look. I can hear the humming noise it would make floating around if I think about it hard enough.

read my comic and this comic

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/14/08 - 7:57AM

Wow my glasses are dirty this morning, I'm amazed I can actually see through these things there is so much stuff on them. In a totally unrelated matter, you should go read The Abominable Charles Christopher. It is a pretty slick comic and worth your attention.

Today's comic is about robots and kittys. Today's vote incentive drawing is a robot... shooting lasers! Nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned.

comics and stuffs and comics

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/11/08 - 8:43AM

It is amazingly foggy outside, I kind of want to go out and take a little walk. Too bad fog is never as exciting looking when you are out in it as when you are in the house looking around. I wish it would be as thick and gummy as it looks, but it isn't. Nature is tricky that way.

When you vote for comet 7 today you will see a few little flying wildlife platforms. I picture these being used on a world where the ground has become soiled and unusable after many years of war, so the people have moved to the skies. Atleast, that's how I see it in my head.

Don't forget to swing by kristy vs. the zombie army because it's updated today. I make that comic too. :)

twas impossible

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/10/08 - 8:53AM

What was impossible? Getting up out of the bed this morning. I am not normally one to sleep in, it makes me feel all groggy and lazy for the entire day. But eek, this morning, it's like the bed was made of metal and my butt was the strongest of electro-magnets!

Today's comic is about how women treat men. Men, regardless of their age are all boys in my honest opinion. Sure, we get older, some parts get bigger, or hairier, or saggier, but we are still, at heart, little boys. Women are always a few notches higher on the maturity totem pole than then. It's a perpetual thing, men will always be silly acting little boys.

I have a airship picture for your eyes today! Click right here to vote for comet 7 and take a look. This airship looks like it has a little city on it, I bet their is a barbershop and maybe a little butcher shop or video store on it too. Neat.

cities in the sky

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/09/08 - 7:48AM

I think we all feel a little bit like today's comic sometime. Not that we beep when we poop I mean, but that we have been tossed away and forgotten by everyone that cares about us. Life is a tough cookie and it will chew you up and spit you out if you let yourself get to down. Keep your head up little tamagotchi!

I like drawing airships. I especially like drawing airships with ornate city scapes on them. Like today's vote incentive sketch for example. This is only the first part, because it ended up becoming a little more complicated (and taking a bit longer) than I expected.

Second finished part goes up tomorrow, hopefully you likey!

crush the city beneath you!

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/08/08 - 8:11AM

I like the last panel in this comic with the zombie moving just a tiny bit too close to Mav. That's how I feel with people a lot of the time, they are just too close for comfort. Not saying people are like zombies... though, I suppose some of them are.

Yesterday you got the first part of the giant Steve destroying a city beneath his water cooler clad heels. Today when you vote for comet 7, you get to see the second part, which is also the completed doodle. Turned out pretty neato. I wonder why he looks so angry?

Hungry probably.

FINALLY

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/07/08 - 8:18AM

After much whining, belly aching, and complaining in this thread right here, it finally looks like spring is upon us in my part of the world. Now I can start complaining about cleaning up the yard and cutting grass. Also, I can make comics about it too.

When you vote for comet 7 today, you will see the start of a little raging Steve doodle. Watercoolers, especially when they are giant, sometimes feel the need to raze and destroy the surrounding cityscape. Atleast I would need to if I was gigantic. I think I will finish this up and post the rest of it tomorrow!

not too bad yea?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/04/08 - 8:46AM

A comic about sneezing today. My nose is pretty big, so I sneeze quite a lot.

Today is the last piece of Doctor Who fanarts. It's the completed pic that I posted the rough draft of yesterday, and I, in particular, think it turned out pretty cute. I think the hair is my favorite part. Click right here to vote for comet 7 and doctor who it up!

That will do it for me today, see you cats back here on Monday, and maybe add me on myspace?

quick week yea?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/03/08 - 7:40AM

Being sick this entire week (and change) it's felt like I haven't got anything at all done, which really, I haven't. Sucks, but what can you do? Now that I'm starting to feel better, I have a laundry list of craps I need to get done. The pile of dishes alone is getting kinda scary and might be taking on a life of it's own.

You like to read comet 7 yea? Maybe you should let everyone know what you look like, and post up your pic on the giant "post your pics" thread on the forum. I just posted a pic a couple days ago when I was sick too. Not very flattering, but being sick normally isn't.

More Doctor Who fan art for you today, which hopefully makes you excited, or atleast doesn't make you angry. Today's vote incentive sketch is a two-parter. When you click the big freaking out Steve pic to the right of this post to vote today, you'll see the first part of my classic Tom Baker 'who sketch. It's only the rough draft but it's coming along nicely I think.

Tomorrow, which is Friday for those keeping track, I'll put up the final piece. Woo.

More Doctor Who?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/02/08 - 8:14AM

Sometimes you start doodling something, be octopi, or squid, or grim reapers, or aliens, and for whatever reason you just keep drawing them and drawing them. The last couple of days for example all I keep drawing is Doctor Who related stuff. Which is fundementally pretty odd, 'cause I really am not even that in to Doctor Who.

Either way, you can click right here to vote for comet 7 and check out the little Tardis sketch I did. So there ya have it!

who's fanart?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 04/01/08 - 8:30AM

Yesterday I had a little chat about Doctor Who, you can scroll down to the news post right before this one to read it. Anyway, it got me thinking, and today I did a little bit of 'Who fanarts.

You can click right here to see a little Dalek doodle I did this morning. If I were you I would vote for c7, lest this vaccuum cleaner shaped monster roll right after you in the most menacing fashion that it can!

Also, regarding the last couple day's comics - I have no idea what they mean. I've had (still have in fact!) this wicked stomach flu or virus for the last week, and my grasp on reality is... tenuous to say the least.

chest bursters ahoy

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/31/08 - 7:49AM

I am what you call a reasonably well seasoned sci-fi and fantasy nerd. I've held in-depth arguments about star trek and star wars. I own many fantasy and sci-fi novels. I've contemplated getting a small Conan themed tattoo (crom!).

I've never got into Doctor Who though. I'm not sure why, I've just never taken the chance to watch it. My homey Steve Napierski though, he is all about the Doctor Who though. Not only does he make neato comics, but he's also asked me to have all you cats check out his new 'who website - Doctor Who News.

I know there are a lot of nerdpants out their reading who will probably enjoy the site, so check it out yea? Crom!

poisoned? maybe!

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/28/08 - 7:56AM

I had a tough time of it last night. Between freezing one second, burning up the next and then passing out on the bathroom floor, I can think of better ways to spend my thursday evenings. Here is a quick comic update because I need to go lay back down. Don't forget to check out kristy vs. the zombie army because that got an update today too.

You should go vote for comet 7 quick. You will see a odd little militant looking alien. Just doodling you know!

crash landings

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/27/08 - 7:46AM

More tattoo comics. Hopefully you are not offended, if you are, most likely your tattoos make you look like a dirty motorcycle rider or carnival person.

Also, today's comic is named fake tatties... that is pretty saucy IMO!

The drawing you see today when you vote for comet 7 is another little alien/ufo pic. This time the tentacled alien friend is having a tough time of it, possibily a crash landing in his future? We may never know!

sup alien buddy?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/26/08 - 8:34AM

Don't get me wrong, I like tattoos, quite a bit in fact... but I also totally agree with today's comic.

Perhaps you'd like to help support comet 7 and buy something from the c7 store?

I like aliens. Space aliens that is. I don't draw them that often though, more favoring grim reapers, scared children, and robots lately. Well today I rememdy that with a little alien and flying saucer combo, both of which you can see by clicking right here to vote for comet 7. Space-tastic no?

broink

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/25/08 - 7:54AM

This comic is neither justifiable or explainable... kind of like older women who have a hundred and fifty cats. Though I'm pretty confident cat ladies smell pretty bad.

Today's vote incentive drawing is the grim reaper. I doodled him up in a slightly different style though, taller and not quite as squat as I usually do. Not to mention his hood is down revealing his floating grim reaper skull, eek.

chocolate milk and toast

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/24/08 - 8:08AM

There are not a whole'lotta breakfasts that are better than a talk glass of chocolate milk and some toast with butter and strawberry jelly on it. It won't fill me up, but it is sure amazingly delicious.

I doodled up a couple familiar looking puppets for you today. I think you will like them, well, I know that I like them, and I have a feeling you have similar tastes to me yea? Even if you don't think you are as weird as me, click right here to vote for comet 7 and takea look at the cute little pupper arts.

BTW - I am freezing and I think I might go play some Metal Gear Solid.

child property laws

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/21/08 - 7:54AM

I wouldn't mind picking up a few little kids to help with chores around the house. Do dishes, shovel, cut the lawn on occasion. They have a pretty expensive upkeep though, so maybe it's just cheaper to do it myself. They stink too.

kristy vs. the zombie army is updated today with some mushroomy zombie goodness. I don't like eating mushrooms, even a little bit. They are probably my least favorite food in the entire world. Ick.

You know what I like best about little mummies? When they are lifting weights. Even if you have been dead and decomposed for a few hundred years, it's important to stay in shape. What am I talking about? Well, click right here to vote for comet 7 and you will see exactly what I am talking about.

Zounds it's Friday already, see you cats on Monday!

human deceny

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/20/08 - 8:22AM

It amazes me how people can act sometime. Don't get me wrong, I feel that most people are good, upstanding citizens, that understand what it means to be a normal, considerate human being... but there is sure a vocal minority of idiots that need to be wiped from the face of the earth.

People that cut in front of you in shopping lines, tail-gaters, the fat old guy at the store who gives you the "stink eye" and wants to fight you because your hair is different. People sometimes, I just don't understand them.

What I DO understand though is that today's vote incentive is a little sketch of a deep sea diver getting ready to brush a whales teeth. It's important to keep your teefus clean even if you are a whale... which normally don't have conventional teeth. Hmm.

welcome into springs...maybe?

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/19/08 - 8:15AM

I am pretty much ready for this weather to end, as most of you know if you've read my whinings over the last few months. Now that the weather is finally (FINALLY!) starting to shift, I'm starting to make some plans for what I'll do when this horrible stuff passes. What about you, any big spring plans in mind?

Vote today and see a couple of little odd characters I doodled up. Pretty odd and I'm not sure what their story is, but that's what happens when you doodle sometimes.

I need you to see something

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/18/08 - 8:29AM

Everyday I put up a new doodle or drawing that you can see by clicking the big Steve the water cooler pic to the right of this post, or you can always click right here to vote as well. It's good for the comic because it gets it a smidge more exposure and it's good for you 'cause you can see some neato art.

Today you should really vote for comet 7 because I finished up yesterdays grim reaper piece, and it turned out mighty fine. I am gonna go get some water color paper and paints and do a little painting of this to go above my desk in the studio I think.

Take a look and then let me know what you think by posting in the vote incentive drawing topic.

bats

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/17/08 - 7:51AM

Here is a comic, that in a round about way, is about bats. Kinda.

I also have a new cute grim reaper drawing, which you can see by clicking right here to vote. It's coming along pretty nicely, you should check it out. I think I'll add a little bit more something to this and I'll show you the rest tomorrow.

lotsa neat stuff

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/14/08 - 8:22AM

I have a bunch of neat stuff for you today. First up is today's comet 7 comic, because you know I do those everyday, but that is still a good thing.

Second, I have a neat, new vote incentive drawing, which, you should really see. Especially if you have ever checked out my other comic, kristy vs. the zombie army. Today's vote incentive doodle is one of the rough drafts that I did when working on the new zombie army character. Woo!

Lastly, I did a little guest comic for my homey Steve P, over at the the outer circle. It is kinda silly, but I thought it turned out pretty neat.

Enjoy all the comics and art today, have a safe weekend and see you back on Monday. Thanks for reading and supporting the comics homeys. :D

do not ask for an explanation

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/13/08 - 8:11AM

I cannot explain today's comic to you. Somethings are just the way they are. The sky is blue, the grass is green, the weather in my part of the country is horrible. This comic is what it is, and that's all there is too it.

Sometimes you just gotta stare down a cacti to show it who's boss.

I like to swim, though I haven't went in about a year. For me, because of where I live, it's more of a "vacation" thing to go swimming. Not a "it's tuesday, so time to hit the pool" kinda deal. That's how I think it looks like for the cute grim reaper too. He's out on a nice little vacation at the beach somewhere, ready to get his swim on. Vote for comet 7 by clicking right here and taking a look.

Looks like the water is a bit cold to me.

(the last of) ze occult!

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/12/08 - 8:32AM

The last of Ouija Board trilogy is up for you today, and really, let's all be honest, this is pretty much the most likely explanation yea?

I draw robots, how could you say, on the regular. Well today's vote incentive drawing is a neat little trap-jaw robot. He wants you to vote for him, if you don't, he might cry... so don't be mean!

(more of) ze occult!

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/11/08 - 8:48AM

More Ouija comicicry for you this Tuesday. They are pretty silly, like most of the things supernatural, but some people are deadset on believing they are real. Crazy kooks.

Today's vote incentive drawing is might dang cute if I say so myself. Especially if you like little robots standing on hills, looking out into the distance with epic bubbling clouds in the background. Check it out, yo.

ze occult!

Posted by: Kidnemo
Date: 03/10/08 - 8:35AM

Today's and tomorrows comic are about the wonderful and mystical Quija Board. Prepare to immerse yourself in the occult!

Bowling pins have it pretty rough. Especially when you consider there entire job is to be propped up and for someone to knock them down. And I mean look how happy they look too! Poor little bowling pin, even being today's vote incentive pic isn't going to help it in a few seconds...

The shirt restock just got in, so if you've been waiting a few extra days for your shirt order, it will be going out today. Thanks a ton for the order, my bill collectors appreciate it!

lotsa six framers

I've been doing lots of six frame comics lately. Not sure why, just kinda how it's been happening I guess. Sometimes we have a lot to say... and sometimes we have a little.

I finished up the cute grim reaper climbs a mountain vote incentive pic. It turned out pretty neat I think. You should vote and check it out.

Speaking of things you should check out, I highly recommend checking out today's kristy vs. the zombie army. I'm happy with how the update turned out.

Overall I'm just in a happy mood today I guess. Perhaps we should talk about some happy things on the forum?

more grim and eye removal

I think I might need to remove my eye. The last couple of days my eyelid has been growing, which, I don't think is a normal behavior for an eyelid. It's kinda itchy this morning too. The pink eye perhaps? I haven't had that since I was a little kid, but who knows. I was just assuming it was a little shiner 'cause I do get hit in the face pretty regularly...

I always called any vaguely religous stone or carven structure an obelisk, and that's originally what I was going to call today's strip. After checking out the obelisk wiki entry it turns out that unless it has a pyramidal top, it's actually a stele. And so that's how I named today's comic. You learn something everyday!

Another two-part vote incentive pic for you today. And again is it with my homey the cute grim reaper. It looks like he's doing a bit of mountain climbing today. That's odd you say. Not really I say. Even ole grim likes to get away to Aspen for the weekend sometimes.

Work IS dumb after all and we all need breaks. I'll post up the second finished pic tomorrow.
